Technical Requirements for Participation via Live Satellite Broadcast
Currently there are 54 Lehigh Educational Satellite Network (LESN) partner site across the United States. Refer to our client sites list to see whether your company is participating.
If your work site is not participating but has existing satellite downlink equipment, please contact our technical personnel to determine if your existing equipment may be configured to receive LESN programming.
If your company is interested in becoming a partner site, please pass the following documentation along to your technical staff - LESN satellite technical overview. In addition, our technical personnel will work closely with your technical staff during the process of equipment installation and testing.
If none of the above applies, you will still be able to participate via online streaming video or satellite receive equipment installed at your home.
Technical Requirements for Participation via Asynchronous Online Streaming Video
It's easy to participate in Lehigh's Distance Education program. If you are already on the web, a few plug-ins are all you need. Please review the list below to see if you have what you need.
Please note that this is a minimum list. If your configuration does not meet these requirements, we cannot guarantee that the streaming media will work correctly on your computer.

For either synchronous (live) streaming or asynchronous (on-demand) streaming participation, you must have a high-speed Internet connection, such as a corporate T1 line, a cable modem, or a DSL connection.
