The Manufacturing Systems Engineering Certification program offers a cross-disciplinary core of learning geared toward the manufacturing
professional. The program has allowed me to expand my knowledge and apply
it to real opportunities within my company.
Paul Krolikowski - Merck and Co. Inc.
"The program truly made you feel like you were a
part of a live class on the Lehigh campus. I give a lot of credit the
Distance Ed. staff who were true facilitators and often my advocates during
the entire Masters program. The instructors are excellent and very
dedicated, offering as much flexibility as they can regarding the needs of
the part-time student."
Tom Rosahac - sanofi-aventis
It was very convenient. I was able to complete my master's degree without leaving my workplace. With my long commuting time to work and 3 young kids at home, I don't think I would have been able to complete a master's program without distance education.
The technology was great. We were able to interact with the class since we were watching the class live via satellite and able to communicate via phone. The technology made it possible for the distance students to get the same level of education as those students who were sitting in class.
Joleen Codner - Northrop-Grumman
"The MSE classes cover all aspects of design. You learn how to design a new product, something a customer wants, and then you learn to go in front of the customer and sell the product to them. Once you get engrossed in your job, you realize how helpful the MSE program is."
"We learned business and engineering theory, we got a lot of hands-on experience, and we did a lot of projects. We even worked on virtual teams with distance-education students by using e-mail, conference calling and other ways of communicating."
